“To change your life, you have to change the way you think. Behind everything you do, is a thought. Every behavior is motivated by a belief. Every action is promoted by an attitude. Be careful of how you think. Your life is directed by your thoughts!”

His work will impact individuals and teams for a lifetime.”

“When I was a kid and a teenager, I always wanted to be just like my Dad. He could do it all! He was a great athlete, an accomplished hunter, he was an MDRT qualifier in his first year in the business and every year following, totaling 43 years. He has made Top of the Table the last four out of five years. He could motivate me to take the hill at any moment. He truly follows Christ in his daily life and has served in community organizations giving back for over 30 years. I tell you this because there are few people that can measure up to my father, not necessarily because of his accolades, but simply because of his daily living of the Golden Rule. I realize more each day how hard it can be at times to be what we should be. I can say without hesitation that you are one of the very few who can measure up in my eyes to someone like my father. You cause me to look internally with comments like, “You can never underestimate the influence you have on the people you lead”, or “Life is about being all you can be, not about being better than someone else.” As we all know, we face adversity in life. It is at these times I pull from those who have coached me and influenced my life. Again, you are one of these people. Thank you for spending the time and energy that I know it takes to effectively coach me. You keep charging on purpose!”

“If you were to Google the word “success,” you would find approximately 465,000,000 results. To explore them all, it would take 442 years, assuming you could read one every 30 seconds. This begs the question… “Where does one begin?” I have been in business for almost 20 years. I have been fortunate to have worked with some of the most affluent and talented professionals in the country. I have listened to the most inspirational motivational speakers and performance psychologists. I have studied with experts on personal development and sales building. I have given seminars in front of thousands and shared the main platform with speakers such as President George Bush and Steven Covey. I will share this with you… there is nobody on this planet that I would be more fearful of speaking AFTER than John Wright. John is one of the most sought after consultants in business today, for many reasons. First, John understands the difference between thinking and doing. I cannot begin to explain how important this is to anyone who is trying to improve, or trying to help others improve. Secondly, John has a unique ability to extract a person’s true potential. I do not remember a single experience after spending time with him that I did not want to become better in some area of my life. Finally, John Wright is simply a winner. He has succeeded at every level throughout his life. He has excelled in college athletics at the University of Illinois, as a professional football player for the Detroit Lions, and as a Managing Partner for Northwestern Mutual (one of the most prestigious firms in the world.) John has also excelled in things I believe to be much more important… as a husband, father and a grandfather. My favorite characteristic of John is that he is a man of Faith, whose philosophies are grounded in something bigger than himself. Ask yourself this question… “If I had to choose to receive business and personal counsel from only one person for the rest of my career…”

Not many people can say with humble confidence that they have changed the lives of literally thousands, but you have. It’s a legacy, your legacy of serving others with life changing wisdom. Your impact will continue to grow and shape the lives of so many people. You really will never know exactly how big it is. But there is one thing you must know without a doubt; I’m a better husband, a better father and a better person because of the investment that you have made in me and in our friendship. Thank you.

“Last night at cocktail hour and over dinner it became clear how big an impact you made on the team yesterday. The group was electrified by your message and the delivery. You truly had everyone “shocked and awed.” A ton of ideas were being thrown around about how to execute on the concepts you shared. My focus now is on reinforcement which won’t be too hard, considering I absolutely believe the information, specifically around the Power of Full Engagement, is fundamental to high performance.”

Congratulations! It doesn’t seem possible that you would be retiring as Managing Partner already. I congratulate you on a fabulous career and the difference you have made in the lives of so many people over the years. It is nice to see you continuing to stay active and positively influencing other people with your coaching and management skills.

“I finally had a chance to read the article on your life skills camps at Greyfield. What an article and what a great testimony to you! I think it goes without saying that people like you are making a huge difference in other people’s lives on a daily basis. It is an absolute honor and privilege for me to count you and your son amongst two of my very favorite people in the world.”

“Congratulations on being one of the greatest leaders of our time. Although I have only met you a couple of times, you have made a big impact on me for several years, as I have listened to you speak (and on the recorded CD’s, over and over and over.) Perhaps that’s a sign of your impact – you are touching the lives of people you don’t even know. WOW! You and your son are two men to whom I owe a lot. You have given me the courage to grow and to tackle my fears. You two have truly blessed me. I pray God will continue to bless you and your family.”
